A Painting that was GOD Given!️

September 6, 2019… Hurricane Dorian with Category 5 winds beared down on The Bahamas. Just days after the storm, we all watched and listened to the news and felt the deep pain of the people still alive, the loss of life and the complete devastation that leveled these islands. I said a prayer for the Bahamas and it’s people. I went to my canvas and started to paint to get my mind off this huge tragedy. I asked God to allow me to paint a peaceful underwater ocean scene with energy.

As I started painting, I felt a very different energy happening. I knew immediately that I was on top of the water. I saw this dark dark ocean and it hit me..... it was the aftermath of the hurricane!!! This painting was took on a life of its own! The few times that I have experienced something like this….. the painting always had a spiritual basis. This energy was so huge to me and I stepped back and knew immediately what it was......

It was Our Response to the Cry of Pain and Devastation that the Bahamian people were feeling... their Helplessness and Despair.... they were crying out to all of us….. and the Regatta of boats were rushing to their rescue ....The powerful energy in this painting was everyone’s personal efforts to get relief to these people not just the government! I knew I was to donate this painting for the relief efforts and it was purchased within 10 minutes of presenting it…. the $2500 was donated directly to Red Cross.
